As the first woman president in Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reaffirmed that the country is on the right path, During his message for his first year of government, he also stressed that power is not to enrich himself.
In front of thousands of people in the Zocalo of Mexico City He stressed that “who betrays the people faces justice”, Amid the dismantling of a fuel smuggling network between high controls in the Secretariat of the Navy.
“In this new Mexico honesty is no exception, it is the rule, and who betrays the people, who steals the people, faces justice. Power is not to enrich yourself, it is to serve with humility, public resources are sacred And they are returned to the people in rights, in well -being and strategic works programs, ”said Sheinbaum.
In addition, he stressed that the country lives a historical moment, since all women arrived in the government and travels along the path of social justice, dignity and the guarantee of social rights, freedom, democracy and sovereignty.
“Honesty is no exception, it is the rule. Who betrays the people faces justice,” he insisted, a message that sought to strengthen the fight against corruption, One of the precepts of Morena and its founder, former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

He stressed that from 2018 to 2024 about 13.5 million people left poverty.
“We have to continue working so that no Mexican lives in poverty, but I am sure of something, we are on the right path. This feat is already written in national history and even if they want, they will not be able to erase it either the hate campaigns, neither the lie nor the slander. It is an irrefutable fact,” he said.
Sheinbaum said that, in the “neoliberalism” stage that the country lived between 1982 and 2018, Mexico became one of the most unequal countries in the world.
