Don Garber, commissioner of Major League Soccer (MLS), confirmed that there are options that the 2026 edition undergoes modifications in its competence format to include reciprocal visits and thus grant greater parity in the competition, as has been the recurring complaint of the MX League teams.

The above was confirmed by the high manager of the MLS Dan Garber in an interview with David Faitelson of the Tudn chain, who explained that the games would be played in both Mexico and the United States, reducing the advantage of the advantage of the American teams in this tournament where the Aztec teams have subtracted seriousness.
