The march of generation Z in Mexico City was supposed to be of young people, non-partisan, for peace and non-violent, but it turned out to be of the majority of people in their 30s, from the political opposition (PRI, PAN, MC), very violent and which left a balance of 100 police officers injured, 40 arrested, many of them generators of violence.
The generation Z march in Mexico City was presented as a youthful, non-partisan, peaceful and non-violent rally. However, it ended up consisting mostly of people around 30 years old, linked to opposition parties (PRI, PAN, MC), and led to serious acts of violence that left 100 police officers injured and 40 detained, several of them identified as causing riots.
It is not surprising since many of those who called for the march were 8 million robots (fake users hired to promote the march), also used to promote the candidacy of Xóchitl Gálvez (PRIAN) and the demonstrations of the Pink Tide (PRIAN and Claudio
This information had been made known by journalist Salvador Frausto on the Astillero Informa channel, days before the march.
“These are opposition causes disguised as a supposed march called by young people under 28 years of age,” said the journalist. “However, the analysis of social networks carried out with artificial intelligence tools in Milenio showed that everything was a digital montage designed to generate the impression that the boys were outraged and demanded the revocation of Claudia Sheinbaum’s mandate.”
It is important to remember that, given the almost 80% approval of President Claudia Sheinbaum and the low numbers of the PAN – a party that even some analysts consider to be on the brink of disappearance – its leader Jorge Romero declared in a radio program, several weeks before the march, that the only thing left for them was to opt for violence. In fact, part of the promotion and slogans of the groups that promoted the demonstration included the idea of burning down the National Palace, citing the case of Nepal, where federal buildings were burned to force the resignation of authorities.
It is striking that in the march there were prayer groups giving their blessing to those of the Black Block, while others attacked the authorities with firecrackers, rockets, stones, hammers, fire torches, machetes and chains. La Jornada even reported that some groups of protesters who shouted “we want peace” also celebrated the violent harassment of the Cathedral and the National Palace by the group that went so far as to violate a march that, yes, had been peaceful in the first hours.
Another thing that caught attention was the misogyny and racism of the verbal attacks on President Sheinbaum, even by the women themselves, some employees of the Televisión Azteca magnate who does not want to pay taxes, and who recently declared himself far-right; in addition to promoting the march.
We clarify that the vast majority of those present, including a not very large percentage of generation Z, also participated peacefully and had their demands such as an end to violence and justice for the recently assassinated mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzo.
However, many young people from Generation Z who initially called for the march in a genuine and honest way, later distanced themselves when they learned that the movement had been hijacked by organizations, a tycoon who does not want to pay taxes, and opposition political parties.
The main message was to show the United States that Mexico is governed by drug traffickers and that instead of fighting them, the authorities fight and repress the people.
It is worth mentioning that the police, who only carried a shield, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and some fire extinguishers to prevent fire outbreaks, did not act until dozens of members of the Black Block tore down the metal fence that was waiting for the National Palace. That’s when the police began to contain the violence.
Meanwhile, many of those who called for the march from their social networks (X) monitored and falsely described what was happening on the Zócalo plateau.
Ricardo Salinas Pliego: “Repression, violence and threats against people who are only doing their job.”
At the same time, the young federal deputy of the PRI Carlos Mancilla, president of the Youth Commission and the same one who beat the former president of the Senate Gerardo Noroña, 65 years old, in the precinct, wrote in X:
Carlos GM: They are reporting to us the alleged presence of snipers in the National Palace and they are massacring young people with beatings! Out with the narco government, Morena is already leaving. United people.
Moments later Alex Jones, a far-right character in the United States (banned from television for lying), began to spread the news of the supposed repression that Mexicans were experiencing.
Real Alex Jones: The Mexican government is on the brink of collapse. Mexico has rebelled against the Chinese-backed communist president! Battle in Mexico City! In the main square, the Zócalo, patriots confront the police protecting the Presidential Palace. Officers fire tear gas and bullets. Mexico rises up against Sheinbaum…
Donald Trump himself said that Mexico was a problem because it has not submitted to the wishes of the United States, including allowing Mexico to enter and supporting the invasion it wants to carry out against Venezuela, among other issues.
The violence and the slogan was such that even some groups that apparently were not the violent ones, went against a young woman from Generation Z, who stood on a corner with a sign that said: “Generation Z are not right-wing elders.”
Furthermore, the young woman told the reporter from El Universal, a newspaper not related to 4T, that the march was a farce because the majority of the people were PAN members, who offended her and pushed her.
