A group of Portland inhabitants is preparing to protest, naked and riding a bicycle, against the displacement of the National Guard to Portlandwhich announced a few days ago President Donald Trump.
Under the argument that violence has exceeded police response in the largest city in Oregon, President Donald Trump turned instructions to the Department of Defense to deploy 200 members of the National Guard to Oregon, where his mission consisted of protecting an ICE installation and protecting local citizens.
“We only enter because, as US patriots, we have no choice. Law and order must prevail in our cities and everywhere! The governor of Oregon must be living in a dream world. Portland is an endless disaster. Many people have been seriously injured, and have even died. It is governed as a Third World country, ”wrote the Republican on the Truth Social platform.
In response, the state of Oregon and the city of Portland sued the Trump administration with the aim of blocking the deployment of troops in the city.
“It is an abuse of power and damage to our communities and our military. We do not need a military intervention here,” said Tina Kotek who governs the entity.

In solidarity with the 59 -year -old Democrat, a branch of the group organized by the World Naked Bike Ride event announced that a massive rolling is being organized in rejection of the alleged militarization that is intended to be imposed in Oregon.
“A worldwide emergency march approaches bike bike in response to the militarization of our city. Work is being done on the plans,” says a message on social networks.
At the beginning of this week, Dan Rayfield, attorney general of Oregon, presented a temporary restriction order to the arrival of the National Guard, which will not prevent the White House plans from being fulfilled.
Faced with this situation, The organizers of the Portland World Naked Bike Ride say that it is almost imminent that hundreds of citizens will be naked in their bicycles to tour the streets protesting against Trump.
“As a long -standing protest, we firmly believe in the power of people and we love that Portland’s inhabitants use the bicycle (already their body) to defend justice and community,” the organization said in a statement.
