Although the official price of the cheapest seats is about $250 Canadian dollars ($180 US dollars)on Ticketmaster’s own website those same tickets are now on resale for more than $2,000 Canadian dollars, that is: $1,429 US dollars.
The price for better-positioned seats, which normally cost $500, is located above the $12,000 Canadian dollars ($8,578 US dollars).
Some users have reported that, despite being on the waiting list to purchase tickets, they were unable to access the tickets because they immediately disappeared as soon as they went on sale. And in a few seconds, they appeared on the Ticketmaster resale market with exorbitant prices.

Ford declared this Wednesday that in his opinion, “people are being scammed” and warned that he will investigate the monopoly that Ticketmaster has for the sale of tickets to shows.
