In the early hours of Saturday, January 3, various media outlets reported the news about the capture of Nicolás Maduro by the United States and one of those means was Univisiona chain that has punctually followed up on what happened in Venezuela in the last few hours.
Through a video, taken up by the program ‘Despierta América’, we were able to relive the reaction that the Venezuelan journalist had. Elyangélica Gonzálezwho was one of those in charge of informing the audience about the arrest of the Venezuelan leader.
In the video, which lasts a few minutes, you can see an Elyangélica very moved by the event that she had to report and share with the Hispanic community, but especially with Venezuelans in exile.
“Right now my body is shaking because of what is happening… I don’t know what to say,” the journalist managed to mention, who immediately broke down in front of the cameras, while her partner tried to calm her down by holding her hand.
Although she could not continue speaking, her partner took the baton and spoke for her and on behalf of the Venezuelan community.
“I wanted Elyangélica, like all the Venezuelans who accompany us here, to have that reaction,” said her partner on set, who gave her all her support in this moment of so many emotions.
The reaction of Elyangélica, who showed his most human side in the middle of ‘Noticiero Univision’, immediately went viral and he received words of support from those who had the opportunity to listen to his report.
