New Precipitation Coming to Southern California for New Year’s Eve



After going through an intense system of winter storms during Christmas week, Southern California should prepare for more rain on New Year’s Eve.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), The possibility of precipitation begins this Wednesday, December 31, and will last for the next two days.to have a rainy start to the year.

Forecasters said the next storm will not be like the event that occurred Christmas week, because it is forecast to dump light to moderate rains.

The chance of rain increases from the night of Wednesday, December 31 through New Year’s Day, conditions that can be extended until Saturdayand with intermittent rains in the region until Tuesday, January 6.
