Miguel Rojas was one of the guests in the front row of the duel between the Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers this Wednesday at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Rojas, one of the Dodgers’ figures in the 2025 World Series, changed shirts with Jaime Jáquez. The Mexican had expressed that the Dodgers would be the champions before the start of the World Series.
The Venezuelan gave shirt 72 to the Mexican player, who signed his Miami Heat shirt 11.
“Grandma Blessing today I achieved another goal,” Rojas wrote on social networks along with the image at the Kaseya Center and his shirt exchange with Jaime Jáquez.
Before his return to the Dodgers, Miguel Rojas played for the Miami Marlins for eight seasons.
Jaime Jáquez receives more confidence from Erik Spoelstra
Mexican forward Jaime Jáquez Jr., player of the Miami Heat, expressed this Monday his gratitude to coach Erik Spoelstra for giving him the responsibility of taking several decisive shots in the 140-138 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“Many thanks to ‘Coach Spo’ for trusting me to go out there and make a play,” Jáquez Jr., who scored 22 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and distributed 7 assists, said in the postgame press conference.
The Mexican was responsible for sending the game to extra time, after scoring a jump shot from the paint with less than ten seconds left.
Regarding that play, in which he threw over his defense, Jáquez Jr. indicated that he was trying to “make the right decision.” and he recalled that he reviewed a lot of video last summer “to know what he was doing right, what he was doing wrong and how he could improve.”
