Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Boxing promoter, believes that Oscar de la Hoya is looking for an excuse to not make the fight between Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis by demanding to be the A side in the negotiations.

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Hearn explained that at this moment everything is in place for the fight to take place, but he highlighted that Boots Ennis has been champion and Ortiz Jr. has not.
