Amid the fight against international organized crime and cartels recently called terrorist organizations, the US government announced specific sanctions against “The Mayiza”that is, the faction of Sinaloa cartel formed by allies of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambadawho is detained in the country for crimes of drugs and bribes.
Through a statementthe Treasury Department pointed to five senior Mayiza commanders already 15 entities allegedly linked to this criminal group.
