Democratic congressmen published a note that was allegedly signed by the now president of the United States, Donald Trump, and sent to Jeffrey Epstein on the occasion of the 50th birthday of the Financial in 2003.
The lawyers in charge of Epstein’s assets sent a series of documents to the Supervision Committee of the House of Representatives last month after they were cited to declare.
Democratic members of that committee published on Monday a copy of the alleged letter, which includes a drawing of the body of a woman, in X.
“President Trump did not draw this image and did not sign it,” said the White House.
When The Wall Street Journal He published details of the alleged note in July, Trump said it was “false” and denied having written it.
“These are not my words, it is not my way of speaking. Besides, I do not draw,” he said at that time, before taking legal actions against the newspaper.
After the publication of the note by the Democrats on Monday, the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, declared: “President Trump’s legal team will continue to firmly litigate.”
He added: “As I said from the beginning, it is very clear that President Trump did not draw this image or signed it.”
The signed note says: “Happy birthday, and every day is another wonderful secret.”
In the publication with the image, the Democrats of the Supervision Committee wrote: “Trump talks about a ‘wonderful secret’ that they both shared. What hidden? Publish the files!”

Trump’s demand

In response, Trump filed a lawsuit against journalists, editor and executives of The Wall Street Journalincluding the owner of News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, requesting compensation of $ 10,000 million.

“Now we know that Donald Trump lied and is doing everything possible to hide the truth,” he added.
This Monday, the White House Cabinet Deputy Chief, Taylor Budowich, published several images of Trump’s firm in X.
“It’s time for @NewSCORP to open the checkbook, it’s not your signature. Dead!” Budowich wrote.

This contained contributions from several acquaintances of Epstein, including a note that was supposedly carried out by Trump, which was then his friend.
